Aspen School District ranks among top in the Country.
“It’s pretty awesome, really,” said Aspen High principal David Schmid of his school’s top finish in the state and 59th place nationally. “This community is pretty tight-knit and proud of who they are, so they’ll like that ranking. And I don’t blame them — it’s an honor. It’s also reflective of the teachers here. They work hard and are very skilled at their craft.”
